I am a beginner with a road bike and bought these shoes. What cleats and pedals do I need to make this combo work?

Thank you!
If you could list a specific cleat/pedal type and brand that would be VERY helpful.

Any road pedal/cleat will do. You can spend as much as your heart desires. Look around online for a similar grade pedal/cleat, or go to your local bike shop.

My best suggestion is to take the shoes to your local bike shops and see what they suggest, then test-fit the shoes to the pedals they suggest and/or what you like. A good recommendation is if your shoes are Shimano then look for Shimano pedals.

You want SPD clips and pedals. These models use the recessed MTB-style SPD cleat for off-the-bike walking comfort.
