I want to be sponsored, but i have no clue how to approach it.

I am part of a cycling team, but i know that i must be a independant cyclist to be sponsored.

You must contact the companies you wish to sponsor you, (or consider sponsoring you) and explain who you are, your accomplishments, pictures, and ask for sponsorship and explain the rewards they would receive out of it if they did so.

The way most people start is going by there local cycling shop and seeing if they can be sponsored by them. We have a cycling team and their is a high schooler on it so it isnt that hard… but a good way to start.

If you are good enough to be noticed you can get sponsorship. Build your resume with wins. Let everyone know you are looking for sponsorship (Bike shops for starts).
