In my PEP I have put down cycling as part of my exercise plan but I have to say how cycling helps me develop for my sport.

It is a highly cardio-vascular sport so it will improve your lungs and heart so your aerobic cappacity will be higher for you when you play football.

It’s one of the best types of aerobic exercise you can get and it also improves your stamina, endurance and muscle tone on your legs.

It would mainly help you with cardio. It will let you run longer overall, and longer at your top speed. I started running just this year after cycling for 3-4 years, and I found I can pick up running much better than before when I tried it. So, I think cycling will help you improve in any other sports as well.
